Complicancy

The day after the healthcare vote we all pause and consider which direction this vote is taking us. Passed without concience. Passed with the assumtion that each day from here on will continue as the last. Those in power plan to stay in power and those of us who remain watch in abject horror as we are now made complicant in a healthcare bill that provides routes for the federal funding of abortion. How did we get here? A better question what can we do about this?

I'm reminded that as a Christian my principles are based in the teachings of the Bible...and this time was fortold of thousands of years ago. Things are going to get more and more evil. Ok they are getting more evil now what Lord? Do I just sit by and watch? Pray for myself and my family to be saved? Yes I can pray for abortions to stop...but they won't.Why? God does not violate his own word and in his word he created us with a will of our own. He could violate that but he won't unless invited. Then there is the process we put into motion in the garden(the wages of sin is death)...humanity started it. Jesus finished it when he offered himself to ransom us from the wages of sin...we can personally be saved but this world has fallen spirits of it's own at work as well.

I was speaking to my husband about this...I was down and feeling defeated by the war thats raging and my seeming inability to influence it. As a mother of 9 living children and 4 (angels) I can't concience the thought of millions of babies being slaughtered. I can't concience the the thought of the millions of women who will be emotionally/physically/spiritually harmed in the process.Nor the men who basically have no right to stop their child from being murdered. I see in my mind eye at times when I pass the healthcare centers and hospitals that I can see the black smoke of alters laiden with innocents...raising up to the throne of god as a testimony of the wickedness of our day. What Leisa? We are a civilized country founded on Christian principles...I use to think so. In Bible times they were casting newborns into the fire to worship Molech. Only that's not what we do with our dashed little ones today...No.... Make no mistake there is money to be made here....and business is good.

How YOU and I can make a difference. How YOU and I can save a life. We can live SPIRIT filled lives in prayer and works.. and not kill our own children through abortion. This should go without saying except for many the Bible is a book of suggestions. If a portion sounds not doable we can always omit it and ask forgiveness..right? I'm only human. We can reach out to the women in our lives that we can influence and mentor. Young mothers..single mothers. Mothers with large families. We can educate our children about the worlds view of life (products of conception) and Gods view ("I knit you together in your mothers womb"..." I am fearfully and wonderfully made"). If we don't teach them..someone will. This could be your grandchild you may be saving. We can put our monitary influence into making a difference. I know there are many that would give up some little luxtury thing to save a life..if they really believed it would help. Get behind the National Right to life. Bombard your representatives with your belief that life is precious. Be the powerful you that you were created to be. I CAN do ALL things THROUGH CHRIST which strengtheneth me.
